the 411
We have all, at one time or another, had an idea of what we wanted but didn't know where to begin or how to even articulate exactly what we imagine. It's frustrating and overwhelming planning a wedding, I understand the struggle 110%. Good news is, I will help make your wedding planning easier by simply being there for you to help give direction and guidance when you need it. I have years of experience in the wedding industry and from my experience have gained a lot of useful information and learned hacks that I can't wait to share with Idyllic in White couples.
my style?
I go above and beyond to capture the details and moments of a wedding as if telling a story. Some call it Photo Journalistic or Candid shooting while my editing style is Film Inspired. I prefer to let the events of the day unfold naturally and am prepared to capture them as they occur. Not wanting to disturb any of the fun, I like to stay quietly in the background as more of an observer. I am extremely attentive to every interaction and detail. Occasionally I give some direction, but when I do I try to make it quick and fun. It's imperative to me that a wedding album is natural, unique, and artistic.
my ideal clients?
The couple who values my work and what I bring to the table. People who trust me and my creative vision to artistically represent them that best tells their story. The couple who is excited to work with me and values genuine, authentic, un-scripted moments.
how many shooters?
I typically work alone but sometimes am joined when needed by my additional team members (up to 4). They help capture the event from a different creative perspective that I otherwise wouldn't be able to if I were alone.
do i bring backup?
I bring it all and then some. I NEVER show up unprepared for a wedding. I always hope for the best but prepare for the worst. I have invested in backups of my backups and although equipment isn't cheap neither is your investment. I want you to feel absolutely confident that you are trusting a professional and not an amateur to capture this once and done monumental day. SD cards are backed up and protected with my life also.
Reservations?
To secure your date, a 15% deposit is required and signed service agreement. *Remaining balance is to be paid in full no later than one week before wedding date. Deposit amounts vary per bundles. Date will not be reserved without deposit and signed service agreement.
when to reserve?
Typically 6 to 12 months in advance is a good time frame. If you're getting married during peak months (from May to October) I recommend 9 to 24 months in advance.
How many images?
It is hard to say exactly how many images will make the cut to the final gallery. Approximately 100-150 high resolution images per each hour of coverage. Your images will then be provided in a unique and beautifully designed online gallery as well as on a USB flash drive.
How long are films?
Every event is different so it is hard to say exactly how long your full feature and highlight films will be. Generally full features are 1 hour and 30 minutes long, mini features are 30 minutes, while highlight films are
4-10 minutes in length.
What is your turnaround?
For the best quality post production, turnaround for wedding photos and films are 6 to 10 weeks, however, this timeline is not guaranteed. Turn around rates can greatly depend on certain factors and longer wait times may unfortunately occur.
engagement session?
I offer an engagement session with select wedding photography bundles. It is the best way to get to know me better before the big day and to try out your wedding day makeup. Digital downloads from your engagement session are made available via an online gallery.
Where am i?
I am based out of Pottsville, Pennsylvania ( proud home of Yuengling Brewery) but am always up for an adventure. I am able to travel both domestic and international.
*Travel expense is responsibility of couple
flexible pricing?
I am flexible with pricing for off season weddings (December to March) as well as weekday and micro weddings.
