We have all, at one time or another, had an idea of what we wanted but didn't know where to begin or how to even articulate exactly what we imagine. It's frustrating and overwhelming planning a wedding, I understand the struggle 110%. Good news is, I will help make your wedding planning easier by simply being there for you to help give direction and guidance when you need it. I have years of experience in the wedding industry and from my experience have gained a lot of useful information and learned hacks that I share with Idyllic in White couples.
If you are looking for someone to just show up the day of, I may not be the right fit. I take the time to get to know you before your wedding day AND I give homework. I want you to feel comfortable opening up to me so that capturing your love story is effortless and real. No matter how ordinary a story may seem, every story is unique which is what keeps me inspired and in love with storytelling. I excel at finding and showcasing your unique qualities.
I go above and beyond to capture the details and moments of a wedding as if telling a story. Some call it "Photo journalistic" or "Candid" shooting while my editing style is film inspired. I think capturing a wedding is all about telling a story. Some of my work could also be described as fine art. I achieve my style by staying away from cheesy poses with an artistic attention to detail, lighting, and composition. Most of my greatest shots are un-posed and naturally occurring. I excel at capturing raw moments that are timeless and real while I tend to struggle to find any passion in cookie cutter, "look at the camera and say cheese", portraiture and film.
my ideal clients?
The couple who values my work and what I bring to the table. People who trust me and my creative vision to artistically represent them that best tells their story. The couple who is excited to work with me and values genuine, authentic, un-scripted moments.
how many shooters?
I typically work with my sister Natasha from Nash Cinema as my second shooter. She captures the event from a different creative perspective that I otherwise wouldn't be able to if I were alone. For all-inclusive bundles I bring in my additional team members to work as a team of 4.
do i bring backup?
I bring it all and then some. I NEVER show up unprepared for a wedding. I always hope for the best but prepare for the worst. I have invested in backups of my backups and although equipment isn't cheap neither is your investment. I want you to feel absolutely confident that you are trusting a professional and not an amateur to capture this once and done monumental day. SD cards are backed up and protected with my life also.
To secure your date, a 15% deposit is required and signed service agreement. Remaining balance is to be paid in full no later than one week before wedding date. Deposit amounts vary per bundles. Date will not be held without deposit and signed service agreement.
when to reserve?
Typically 6 to 12 months in advance is a good time frame. If you're getting married during peak months (from May to October) I recommend 9 to 24 months in advance.
How many images?
It is hard to say exactly how many images will make the cut to the final gallery. Approximately 50-80 high resolution images per each hour of coverage. Your images will then be provided in a unique and beautifully designed online gallery as well as on a USB flash drive.
How long are films?
Every event is different so it is hard to say how long your full feature and highlight films will be. Generally full features are 1 hour and 30 minutes long, mini features are 30 minutes, while highlight films are
4-10 minutes in length.
What is your turnaround?
For the best quality post production, turnaround for wedding photos and films are 6 to 8 weeks. To have photos or videos within 1-2 weeks of event date there is a rush fee of $200.
I offer a complimentary engagement session with my wedding photography bundles. It is the best way to get to know me better before the big day and to try out your wedding day makeup. Images from your engagement session are made available via an online gallery. Images may be purchased individually or the entire gallery on a USB flash drive.
Where am i?
I am based out of Pottsville, Pennsylvania ( proud home of Yuengling Brewery). I document many local events but also travel in and out of state frequently.
I am flexible with pricing for off season weddings (December to March) and weekday weddings. That we can discuss during consultation via in person meet, video, or phone chat
lets talk turkey.
Wedding film and wedding photo bundles are in the ballpark of 1,500-5,500 while all-inclusive bundles are 4,500-9,120. With several options to choose from, I have created bundles with every budget in mind while leaving room for couples to customize their own bundle.
