Children’s Adventure Sessions
Updated: Feb 9, 2021
For the past 7 years I’ve done portraiture for all sorts of sessions and events, never really pinpointing exactly which niche I wanted to focus on. It wasn’t until 2 years ago I committed to my niches. I’ve been doing weddings all along but only within the last 4 years had I been introduced to fine art composite imagery and although a challenge, I immediately became hooked. Since being introduce, I’ve been progressively refining my skills and found a niche other than weddings than I really love and excel at because of how much I genuinely enjoy it. Aside from working with couples, I’ve always absolutely adored working with children and loved creating images that are interesting to look at.

*Being the youngest of 6 and all of my siblings having children (4 nieces and 5 nephews), I’ve had plenty of learning experiences with kids from my family alone.

Other than puppies, there isn’t quite anything else that makes me smile and giggle uncontrollably like kids do. I love the simplicity and creativity of a child's mind. I love that they are unbothered by trivial things like their hair being perfect or what to wear. I love their little giggles, smiles, and smirks. I love their wild imaginations and how they can make the best out of any situation. I love that kids do not hate or discriminate and they only judge me because my favorite color is not their favorite color but that's okay because they still like that color too.

Kids are the best and there is so much we can learn from them that we tend to forget as adults. The adventure sessions allow kids to just be themselves to take us along on their little journeys. They are free to do whatever they want; jump, run, yell, play, dress up and I capture it to turn it into a timeless piece of art.

The Children’s Adventure sessions are great for kids between the ages of 1-10 but are open to infants and teens also as well as pets. These are not meant to be family portraits but parents or family members may be incorporated into an adventure.

- Sessions can last up to 2 HRS
-Up to 4 outfit/costume changes (5 outfits)
*outfits, costumes, and props available for use
-Minimum of 5 hand crafted composite images (no limit)
-$250 sitting fee (up to 4 persons)
-$15 per high resolution digital download or a USB flash drive with all final composites + bonus images can be purchased for $50
-turnaround time is approximately 4-6 weeks, depending on my schedule. Since I also photograph and film weddings all year round but also work various other jobs, a longer wait for final delivery is unfortunately sometimes unavoidable especially being that these images take more time and creativity to create than your average portrait session.
